Chris Powell was named the League One Manager of the Month on Friday morning, the second time he has picked up the award.

Powell masterminded wins against Brentford, both Sheffield teams and Exeter with a draw against Bury on the last day of the month.

Meanwhile, Addicks skipper Johnnie Jackson has picked up the Player of the Month award.

Jackson returned to the fold on New Year’s Eve at Leyton Orient. His two stunning free-kicks against the Sheffield duo will vie with Dale Stephens’ equaliser against Bury for Charlton’s goal of the season.

With tomorrow’s game at Chesterfield almost certainly off, the Addicks have yet to play in February, making a repeat of the January triumphs a tad tricky!
